Skip A Payment & Share They Joy!
Our annual Skip A Payment program is back! From November 1 through January 31, you can skip one month's loan payment and make a voluntary donation to support the Children's Miracle Network.
Each year, our members make a meaningful impact by helping local children and their families through the holiday season, and this year is no different! All donations are voluntary and will be sent directly to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, supporting 15,000 children in the KC metro area.
Don’t have a loan to skip? You might still benefit this season. If you’re thinking about refinancing your current auto loan or getting into a new vehicle, check out our Drive Now, Pay Later promotion—offering 90 days with no payments on new purchases and eligible refinances. It’s a great way to ease your budget and drive into the holidays with confidence.
If you'd like to skip a monthly payment, fill out our Member Submission Form.
Drop your completed forms off at one of our branch locations, or call (913) 599-1010 for assistance.
From November 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026, you can skip one month's loan payment and give a voluntary donation to support the Children's Miracle Network. Your loan must be current and your accounts in good standing. Only one monthly loan payment per loan may be skipped within a 12-month period. This will extend your contract for one month and interest will continue to accrue. This offer excludes real estate, Green Light, MainPerk & Fresh Start Loans. Skipped payments may affect future GAP claim benefits. Loan must be open for a minimum of 12 months. Other restrictions may apply.
Drive Now, Pay Later: 90 Days Payment Free on New & Refinanced Auto Loans!
Take a load off this holiday season. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, we're here to make it stress-free. Get an auto loan with us in October or November and enjoy 90 days with no payments. This means your first payment won't be due until 2026, giving you one less expense to worry about during the hustle & bustle of the holidays.
Already have an auto loan? You may still qualify for the Drive Now, Pay Later offer. Refinancing with us gives you 90 days with no payments and could help you secure a better rate or terms. This includes refinancing your Mainstreet loan when additional funds are advanced using the equity in your vehicle. It’s a great way to ease your budget and enjoy the season with less stress.
Buyers are also at an advantage right now, and here's why:
- Increased inventory across dealerships. Whether you are looking for a fuel-efficient commuter car, a spacious SUV for the whole family, something sporty or a 4-wheel drive vehicle to prepare for winter roads, there's a higher likelihood of finding the perfect vehicle for your lifestyle.
- More inventory means better leverage for buyers. Dealerships are motivated to move vehicles off their lots, and into your garage. This can lead to more competitive pricing and flexible financing options.
Gift yourself 90 days with no payments. Our auto loans are here to support you with flexible financing. Make this season a little brighter by driving with confidence. We're here with you for the road ahead.

Update on CO-OP Shared Branching Access
You may have noticed signs at your local Mainstreet Credit Union about the discontinuation of CO-OP Shared Branching services for members of other credit unions. This change does not affect you as a Mainstreet Credit Union member.
Mainstreet members can still visit other participating credit unions within the CO-OP Network to complete transactions. We remain part of the network and only inbound services for non-Mainstreet members at our branches have been discontinued.
The Shared Branching Network is a nationwide co-op service that allows credit union members to carry out transactions at thousands of partner credit union locations across the country.
Moving soon? No need to move your accounts. With CO-OP Shared Branching, you can continue banking with Mainstreet Credit Union from nearly anywhere in the U.S.—just find a participating branch near you and enjoy the same convenient service.

Stay Alert: How to Avoid a Scam
Scammers are getting more sophisticated, but you can stay one step ahead by knowing the signs and taking action. Keyways to protect yourself and your personal information:
Resist Pressure to Act Immediately: Scammers often create a sense of urgency to trick you into acting without thinking. They may:
- Threaten arrest or legal action, request your personal information, claim your account is compromised, download an app on your phone or computer, or demand immediate payment
Watch for Unusual Payment Requests: Scammers often insist on specific payment methods such as:
- Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin), Wire Transfers (MoneyGram, Western Union), Payment Apps, or Gift cards
We want our members to feel safe, secure and supported! We will never ask for your personal information via phone, text or email, demand immediate payment, or threaten you. If you receive a suspicious message or call, visit one of our branches or call us directly at (913) 599-1010.
