A Mainstreet Check Card is the perfect product for a busy lifestyle. With a Check Card you can have the convenience of an ATM card and a debit card combined into one. Purchases are deducted directly from your Mainstreet checking account, with the card accepted at any retailer who accepts MasterCard®. You can also use your Check Card at any ATM displaying the STAR logo.
Use your Mainstreet Check Card anyplace you'd normally write a check. Just sign the receipt like you would on a credit card. Paying at the gas pump is as simple as swiping the card and grabbing your receipt. Use it instead of a credit card when purchasing over the internet. And, anyplace that doesn't accept checks will gladly accept your Check Card as payment!
OnlineAccess and PhoneAccess
Access your Credit Union accounts and conduct transactions from the convenience of your home or office with OnlineAccess and PhoneAccess. You can obtain balances of your savings and checking accounts, find out what checks have cleared, make transfers between accounts, and handle many other procedures. What's more, both these services are FREE!
To get started, contact Mainstreet for your own Personal Security Code. Use it for both OnlineAccess and PhoneAccess. A special phone number, (913) 599-2400, is available for PhoneAccess once you have your Code; you'll find OnlineAccess at the top of every page.
The optional Bill Payer feature of OnlineAccess allows you to pay your utility, credit card, and most other bills through your computer. You'll save time and postage by not having to mail all those payments, and the service is FREE to all members actively using it.
Direct Deposit makes waiting in lines to make deposits a thing of the past. Funds are available on a reliable, timely basis, even during vacation, illness or business trips. You'll also never have to worry about lost or stolen paychecks, Social Security checks or government checks, since everything is deposited electronically. Direct Deposit from Mainstreet just makes your life easier!

Overdraft Protection benefits members in the event a check is presented against an insufficient balance. Funds to cover the check will automatically transfer from available funds in the member's Primary Share Account. A nominal charge for Overdraft Protection may apply for members with a Free Plus Checking Account. Members may arrange to have future transfers made from another account, either instead of or in addition to the primary share account.
Overdraft Privilege helps save you the embarrassment and inconvenience of a returned item as well as the fee normally charged to you by merchants for items returned to them. Overdraft Privilege is not a line of credit. However, should you inadvertently overdraw your account we normally will cover your overdrafts up to your approved limit after first subtracting the amount of the overdraft fee(s) as outlined in the Discretionary Overdraft Privilege Policy. When your items are paid, the amount of Discretionary Overdraft Privilege will not be shown in your available balance and therefore will not be available for Debit Card purchases, ATM transactions or checks cashed at our teller windows. The Discretionary Overdraft Privilege is available for check inclearings and ACH transactions.
Should an overdraft occur, your account will be charged the standard NSF fee of $25 for handling each item even if paid by the Discretionary Overdraft Privilege.
