Virtual Egg Hunt

Objective: To collect all the parts of a phrase. Once you have the entire phrase, you will submit it to the email address link given to you at the last location.

How to play:  At each location a portion of a phrase will be given.  A “hint” will be given to help you navigate through the web site to find the complete phrase.

Submit the entire phrase to events@mainstreetcu.org

All the locations are found on our website.

Three winners will be drawn at random. All entries must be submitted by midnight on April 20, 2014 to be entered into the drawing.

Prize: $50.00 Visa Gift Card

 Old Shawnee Days Parade –

Get your lawn chair set up along the parade route and enjoy all the bands, floats, marchers and especially $eemore $avings at the Old Shawnee Days Parade, which begins at 10:00 a.m. Then head to Shawnee Town to spend the day shopping, eating, riding, and taking part in the kid-friendly hands-on history activities.

 Community Days Parade-

Bring your friends and family to gather along the parade route to watch floats, bands, antique cars and $eemore $avings as they wind their way through the Old Town area beginning at 10 a.m. Entries are judged along the way, and awards are announced on the city’s website.

The parade route will start on Santa Fe Trail and Park heading north toward 90th Place.

  Tiblow Days Parade-

The Bonner Springs-Edwardsville Chamber of Commerce sponsors Tiblow Days, the city's annual heritage festival. It is celebrated the last weekend in August, prior to Labor Day. Bonner Springs was originally named Tiblow in honor of Henry Tiblow, a Delaware Indian who operated a ferry across the Kansas River. The city was renamed Bonner Springs in the 1880s. 

Activities and events take place at K-32 (Cedar Street) and Second Street, K-32 and Third Street, Oak Street , Second Street and Elm.

Santa Claus is coming to Mainstreet!

Santa Claus has scheduled four visits to Mainstreet Credit Union this holiday season.

He will be taking time to listen to each child’s Christmas wish during the following visits:

Leavenworth: Saturday, Nov. 23 – 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Lawrence: Saturday, Nov. 30 – 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Olathe East (14280 W. 135th St.): Thursday, Dec. 12 – 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Mission: Saturday, Dec. 21 – 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Santa will be seated in the lobby of each branch and welcoming children of all ages for visits and photos. Please bring a personal camera for any photos you wish to take.  Enchanted Forest–

Lenexa’s Enchanted Forest has something to delight even the smallest Halloween revelers. On October 24, the jogging trail in Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park at 87th and Greenway will transform into a forest full of friendly mascot characters, marionette puppets, singers, magicians, seasonal displays, a bonfire and lots of fun stuff for kids. The wooded jogging trail provides the perfect backdrop for this enchanting event. You’ll want to bring the entire family to the “forest” to see what mischievous fun takes place. 

$eemore $avings will be attending the Enchanted Forest to hand out goodies for the trick-or-treaters. Wear your costume!
