Mainstreet Credit Union is a not-for-profit, cooperative financial institution that provides services to the individuals who join it - its members.
How to Join
Simply qualify for membership.
Membership in this Credit Union is open to any person living or working in the greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area, made up of the following counties in Kansas: Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Douglas, Miami, Franklin and Linn; and the following counties in Missouri: Platte, Clinton, Caldwell, Clay, Ray, Jackson, Lafayette, Cass and Bates. Membership is also open to organizations or businesses located within said counties.
- Open a Share (Savings) Account with a minimum balance of $5 at any one of our convenient full-service branches.
This membership gives you the right to a full range of financial services and a vote in electing the Board of Directors who set the overall direction of the Credit Union.
Once you join Mainstreet Credit Union, members of your family are eligible for membership. This includes your parents, children, brothers, sisters, grandparents and grandchildren.

SELECT EMPLOYEE GROUPS
Select Employee Groups, or SEGs, are companies that have elected to offer the benefits of Mainstreet Credit Union to their employees. Membership costs nothing to the employer.

How do employees join and/or get Mainstreet Credit Union information?
Employees can open Share Accounts during an open enrollment on-site at the company or stop by any one of our convenient branch offices. A Business Development Representative can make presentations to employees, host an open enrollment, and provide print marketing materials - paycheck stuffers, brochures, posters, and New Hire Information Pages for orientation packets, all at no cost to the employer.
